Linda Pollock is a highly influential nurse leader who has occupied a variety of pivotal roles across the health care sector including national policy implementation and has significant senior management experience at both strategic and operational levels.

As an Executive Nurse Director she managed primary care and community services, mental health and continuing care and has been proactive in workforce planning. She also has a track record of setting up corporate systems for decontamination, infection control, risk management, health and safety, disability discrimination, child protection, protection of vulnerable adults and non-medical prescribing.

Leading organisational change through service redesign with a particular focus on stakeholder engagement.
Implementation of a standardised methodology to ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
Leading service audits and reviews to facilitate organisational learning in response to service failure.

Linda is currently a freelance Primary Care Consultant, the project lead for the Queen’s Nursing Institute (Scotland), an Appointments Board Member for the Nursing Regulator, and a lay member of the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission.
